Setting Up Invincible Ads

Welcome to AriseAds Invincible Ads, a powerful plugin designed to help you boost your website’s CTR by displaying invincible ads. These ads are strategically placed to be invisible to users while maintaining their effectiveness. With a range of customization options, you can tailor the ads to fit your website’s design and audience preferences.

To start using AriseAds Invincible Ads, you’ll need to configure its settings. Follow the steps below to customize the plugin according to your needs.

Click Stats

Monitor the performance of your invincible ads by tracking clicks.

  • Today: Shows the number of clicks received today.
  • Yesterday: Shows the number of clicks from the previous day.
  • This Month: Displays clicks accumulated this month.
  • All Time: Shows the total number of clicks since the plugin was activated.

Note: This clicks are tracked without any filter, therefore it may be different from what you see on your ad network dashboard.


Ad Code

Define the ad code that should be used as invincible ad. You have two options for setting up your ad code:

Use On Page Ad

This option utilize existing ad on your post page as the invincible ad. You need to wrap any single post ad code of your choice with specific CSS class. This method is recommended as it leverages ads already present on your site.

In the Ad Code section, choose the Use On Page Ad radio button.

Define the On Page Ad Wrapper Class Name: Enter a unique CSS class name that will wrap around your existing ad code. The default is invad.

Next, locate one of the ad code that displays on the single post you wish to be used as invincible ad, and wrap it with <div class="your-chosen-class-name">...your_ad_code_here</div>

Example: If you set the class to my-special-ad, your ad code should be wrapped as follows:
<div class="my-special-ad">...</div>


Use Ad Code

Directly enter custom ad code that you want the plugin to handle as invincible ad.

In the Ad Code section, choose the Use Ad Code radio button.

Paste your ad code into the provided textarea.


Basic Settings

Visibility Settings

This control who can see your invincible ad based on visitor criteria.

All Visitors: Everyone visiting your website will see the invincible ad. You can still narrow down to target specific visitors e.g only visitors on mobile, US, etc.

Access Link: Only visitors with a specific access link can see the invincible ad. Useful for targeted campaigns or special offers.

  • Manage access links by navigating to AriseAds > Access Links.
  • Create or edit access links and ensure the Invincible Ad option is enabled.

Note: Selecting Access Link restricts invincible ad visibility to users who access your site through the designated access links.


Show on Specific Pages

Determine on which pages your invincible ads should appear.

  • Homepage
  • Search Page
  • Single Post Types
  • Category Page
  • Tag / Archive Pages

Targeting Options

Refine ad visibility based on specific criteria such as post IDs, categories, countries, and devices.

Each field will have an Action option Include and Exclude above it.

  • Include: This means that the selected values will be allowed to invincible ad.
  • Exclude: This means that the selected values will not be allowed to see invincible ad.

Example: If you want to exclude mobile devices, under the mobile devices, select Mobile and choose Exclude action.

Post IDs

Invincible Ad will only show or not show on the selected post IDs depending on the Action you select (Include or Exclude)

Input the IDs of the posts separated by commas.

  • Example: 123, 456, 789

Categories

Control invincible ad visibility based on post categories.

  • Choose the categories you want to include or exclude.
  • Example: technology, health, education

Countries

Target or exclude visitors from specific countries.

  • Input the country codes separated by commas.
  • Example: US, CA, GB

Devices

Manage ad visibility based on the visitor’s device type.

Check the boxes corresponding to the device types.


Advanced Settings

Access more granular control over ad display behavior, including display timing, visitor interaction limits, and ad positioning.

Display Settings

Control when and how often your invincible ads are displayed.

Delay Display for: Set the number of seconds to wait before displaying the ad after the page loads. Leave empty or set to 0 for immediate display. E.g 5 seconds delay.

Show After Pageviews: Display the ad after a visitor has viewed a certain number of pages. E.g Show the ad after 3 pageviews.

Show Every Pageviews: Toggle ad display on alternating cycles of pageviews. E.g Show the ad every 2 pageviews (display on even cycles, hide on odd cycles).


Visitor Limits

Limit the number of impressions and clicks a single visitor can generate for invincible ad within a specified period.

  • Max Clicks: Set the maximum number of clicks a visitor can make on the invincible ad.
  • Period (Days): Define the time frame for the click limit.

E.g If you set Max 1 click in 2 days period, with such configuration, when a user click the invincible ad 1 time, it will be hidden from that user for 2 days.


Ad Position

Determine where on the page the invincible ad will appear.

  • Center: Position the ad at the center of the page.
  • Left: Position the ad towards the left side of the page.
  • Right: Position the ad towards the right side of the page.

Additional Settings for Left/Right Positions:

  • Vertical Position (%): Specify the vertical placement percentage (0% = top, 100% = bottom).
  • Horizontal Position (%): Specify the horizontal placement percentage (0% = left, 100% = right).

Admin Preview Mode

Enable a preview mode to see how invincible ads appear on your website without affecting live visitors.

In the plugin settings form, check the Enable Admin Preview Mode checkbox.


Important Notes

  • Ad Network Policies: Using invincible or invisible ads may violate the policies of many ad networks, including Google AdSense. Ensure you review and comply with your ad network’s terms of service before implementing this plugin.
  • Responsiveness: While the plugin offers positioning options, ensure that the ad placements are responsive and do not disrupt the user experience on different devices.
  • Cookie Usage: The plugin uses cookies to track visitor interactions. Make sure your website’s privacy policy reflects the use of such tracking mechanisms.
  • Backup Settings: Before making significant changes to the plugin settings, consider backing up your current configurations to prevent loss of data.
