Bridge Pages – How to Set Up and Use AriseAds Bridge Pages

Bridge Pages are special, standalone landing pages designed to guide visitors towards a specific action with minimal distractions. You can use them to present compelling offers, highlight key links, or capture leads using a form. They are highly customizable, allowing you to control the content, appearance, and the primary call to action.

What Can You Do With Bridge Pages?

  • Create focused landing pages: Direct users from ads, social media, or email campaigns to a page built for a single conversion goal.
  • Promote multiple important links: Present several call-to-action buttons in a clean interface.
  • Capture leads effectively: Embed a Traffic Collector form directly onto the page.
  • Customize the look and feel: Control colors, fonts, layouts, and button styles to match your branding or campaign.
  • Track engagement: Monitor clicks on your links.

Accessing Bridge Pages

  1. Navigate to the AriseAds menu in your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Click on “Bridge Page” in the AriseAds submenu. This will take you to the main list of your Bridge Pages.

The Bridge Pages List View

This page displays a table of all the Bridge Pages you’ve created. Key columns include:

  • Title: The name you’ve given to your Bridge Page.
  • Stats: Shows key performance indicators. This typically includes:
    • Views: How many times the Bridge Page has been viewed.
    • Clicks: How many times links on the Bridge Page have been clicked.
    • Submissions: If using a Traffic Collector, how many forms have been submitted. (Detailed stats might be available elsewhere or by clicking).
  • Action Type: Indicates whether the page is primarily for Links or a Traffic Collector.
  • Date: The date the Bridge Page was published.

Actions available on this page:

  • Add New: Button at the top to create a new Bridge Page.
  • Row Actions (when hovering over a Bridge Page title):
    • Edit: Modify the Bridge Page’s settings and content.
    • Trash: Moves the Bridge Page to the trash.
    • View: Opens the live Bridge Page in a new tab.
  • Clone: (Usually found on the Edit screen) Allows you to duplicate an existing Bridge Page to quickly create a similar one.

Creating or Editing a Bridge Page

  1. Click “Add New” to create a new Bridge Page or click the title/Edit link of an existing one.
  2. Enter a Title: This is for your internal reference (e.g., “Summer Campaign Landing Page,” “Ebook Download Bridge”). The title also forms part of the page’s URL (permalink).

Below the title, you’ll find the “Bridge Page Settings” panel, organized into several tabs:

Page Content Tab

This tab controls the main text visible on your Bridge Page.

Heading Content

Use the rich text editor to create your main headline, introductory text, or any descriptive content you want visitors to see first. You can format text, add images, and use different heading levels (H1, H2, etc.).

Footer Content

Use the rich text editor to add any text you want to appear at the bottom of the Bridge Page, such as copyright information, disclaimers, or links to privacy policies.

Page Actions Tab

This is where you define the primary goal of your Bridge Page.

Select Action Type: Choose one:

  • Links Action: Select this if the main purpose is to get visitors to click one or more buttons that link to other pages (on your site or externally).
  • Traffic Collector: Select this if the main purpose is to have visitors fill out a form (e.g., to subscribe to a newsletter, download a file). This requires the “Traffic Collector” module in AriseAds to be active.

Click “Add New Link” to add a button to your page. For each link, you can configure:

  • Link Title (Required): The text that will appear on the button (e.g., “Learn More,” “Shop Now”).
  • URL (Required): The web address the button will link to.
  • Button Style Profile: Choose from DefaultPrimarySecondary, or Tertiary. The actual colors and appearance of these profiles are set in the “Actions Styles” tab.
  • Hide for Countries: Select one or more countries where this specific link should not be displayed. Useful for geo-targeting offers.
  • Open in New Tab: Check this if you want the link to open in a new browser tab when clicked.

Settings if “Traffic Collector” is selected:

(Traffic Collector Module Check): If the main Traffic Collector module in AriseAds isn’t active, you’ll see a message prompting you to activate it.

Form Fields: Customize the fields of the embedded form that will be displayed to your visitors.

Connections:

  • If you have set up connections in AriseAds > Connections (e.g., to Mailchimp, Local Storage), they will appear here.
  • Select one or more connections where the submitted form data should be sent.

After Subscribe Action: What happens after a user successfully submits the form:

  • Show Message: Displays the “Success Message” on the Bridge Page.
  • Show Message with Links: Displays the “Success Message” and then shows the configured links (from the “Links Action” settings, even if “Traffic Collector” is the primary action type). This is useful if you want to offer downloads or next steps after signup.
  • Redirect to URL: Sends the user to the “Success URL”.

Hide Form Labels: (Also in “Actions Styles” tab) Check to hide the text labels above the form fields (e.g., “Email Address,” “Your Name”). Placeholders will still be visible.

Hide Heading on Success: Check to hide the main “Heading Content” of the Bridge Page after a successful form submission.

Hide Footer on Success: Check to hide the “Footer Content” of the Bridge Page after a successful form submission.

Actions Styles Tab

This tab controls the visual appearance of your call-to-action elements (buttons and forms).

Display Template: How the main content (links or form) is arranged on the page.

Button & Form Input Size: Affects all buttons and form input fields on the page.

Button Style Profiles: Define the look for DefaultPrimarySecondary, and Tertiary button types. These profiles are then selected for individual links (in the “Page Actions” tab) or the form’s submit button.

For each profile, you can set:

  • Background Color
  • Text Color
  • Border Color

Border Radius: Enter a value in pixels (e.g., 5px) for rounded corners. This applies to both buttons and form input fields.

Use Rotating Button (Only for Links Action Type): If checked, and you have multiple links defined, only one button will be shown at a time. It might cycle through the links or pick one randomly (the exact behavior might vary).

Form Input Styling (Applies if “Traffic Collector” action type is used).

Form Input Border (Applies if “Traffic Collector” action type is used).

Hide Form Labels: (Also in “Page Actions” for Traffic Collector) Check to hide text labels above form fields.

  • Select an animation effect for the first button that appears on the page (e.g., BounceFlashPulseNone).
  • Loop Animation: Check if you want the animation to repeat.
  • Start Animation after Form Submission: If you’re using a form and then showing links (via “Show Message with Links” after subscribe action), you can choose to trigger the animation on the first link at that point.

Page Styles Tab

This tab controls the overall appearance of the Bridge Page itself.

Layout Position: How the main content block is aligned on the page.

Page Colors:

  • Background Color: The main background color of the entire Bridge Page.
  • Text Color: The default color for text on the page (can be overridden by heading/footer editor settings or button text colors).

Font Family: Choose a global font for the page from a predefined list (e.g., Poppins, Roboto, Open Sans).

Advanced Settings Tab

Configure more technical aspects of your Bridge Page.

Search Engine Indexing: Discourage Search Engines from Indexing: (Checked by default). Keeps this page out of Google/search engine results by adding a “noindex” meta tag. This is usually desired for targeted campaign landing pages. Uncheck if you want the page to be discoverable via search.

Header Script: Add any custom HTML or JavaScript code (like tracking pixels, analytics snippets) that needs to go into the <head> section of the Bridge Page.

Footer Script: Add any custom HTML or JavaScript code that needs to go just before the closing </body> tag of the Bridge Page.

Publishing and Viewing Your Bridge Page

Once you’ve configured all settings, click the “Publish” button (for new Bridge Pages) or “Update” button (for existing ones) in the WordPress publish meta box (usually on the right side).

To view your Bridge Page, click the “View Bridge Page” link in the admin bar, or the permalink displayed below the title field on the edit screen. You can also click “View” from the Bridge Pages list.

The URL will typically be in the format: yourwebsite.com/bridge/your-bridge-page-title/

Understanding Statistics

The Bridge Pages list provides a quick overview of views and clicks/submissions. More detailed statistics for individual Bridge Pages (e.g., click-through rates for each link, performance over time) might be available in a dedicated stats section within AriseAds or by integrating with an analytics tool using the custom script options.

Cloning a Bridge Page

If you need to create several similar Bridge Pages, use the clone feature:

  1. Go to the edit screen of the Bridge Page you want to duplicate.
  2. Look for a “Clone” or “Duplicate” button/link (often in the “Publish” meta box or as a row action).
  3. This will create a new Bridge Page (usually as a draft) with all the settings copied from the original, which you can then modify.

By using these settings, you can create highly effective Bridge Pages to channel your website visitors towards your desired actions. Remember to test your Bridge Pages on different devices to ensure they look and work well everywhere.
